For the first time at Seawork Hydrosphere are displaying a typical permanent Aids to Navigation marking solution for offshore wind turbines on their stand A77 at Seawork 2013. (18th June 2013)

This includes a 5NM solar powered LED light, nighttime ID marking, a NavAid Controller, NavAid Backup, and an AIS System all manufactured by Sabik.

The VLB-2, a recent addition to Hydrosphere’s navigation light range, has also been confirmed as one of the marine beacons to be displayed by Hydrosphere at this year’s event.

Providing up to 2NM performance at 0.74T the VLB-2, which is available with optional GPS synchronisation, is a high capacity LED marine light specifically designed for use in high latitude applications.
John Caskey, Managing Director for Hydrosphere commented: “We’re pleased to be able to showcase this new equipment at this year’s event. We’ve always received a lot of interest in our navigation lights at Seawork and we’re particularly excited for 2013 with the recent launch of the rental side of the business – Hydrosphere Rentals Ltd – which offers our customers the option to rent many of our products.”

Seawork is being held this year on 25th-27th June. Visit www.seawork.com for more details and to register.
